By this point in the interview I have to admit, I was having a hard time containing myself. As much as I wanted to believe his stories, so many of them were farfetched and seemed utterly ludicrous. But I still stand by there is a possibility some is real. Perhaps he is a conman with the pathological ability to convince himself of his own lies? Or perhaps he is the most interesting mobster in history. Once again, I don’t know. And I will never call a guest a liar unless I have proof. Which I don’t. And never will because I don’t care enough to look it up. I have better things to do. People claim I lie when I am not. So I don’t ever do that. It’s tacky and low brow. Still, this guy needs to come up with more than one arrest record with Sonny Franzese to make all of these outlandish claims, about the military and the pope. It would have been wise of him to omit such tales from his story. But he is after a movie deal, so in that sense I guess he is just a screenwriter. It would have served him better to just claim his story was fiction, unless he could prove some of this canard. Either way, he is entertaining.
