Are Modern Card Shows sustainable if the Sports Card Market keeps trending down?

Curious for your thoughts on comments on this one. Given the current state of the world and they way Sports Cards along with everything is tanking. Are modern card shows viable? Do we have too many? As money becomes tighter will we see less and less “travel shows”.
