MGM Rewards Program Las Vegas July 2023 Update | Bad News for the Budget Tourist

Unfortunately, right after we put that out, the MGM tier status match program changed, knocking our Gold status back down to Pearl. Since we’re looking to get resort fees waived, Pearl status is pretty much useless to us. So, we did a little more research to see if we could actually reach status on our own, without spending any more than we normally would. After all, why pay thousands of dollars to get free resort fees when simply paying the resort fees would be much less expensive?
